Modern Calligraphy for Beginners
Join Sip & ScriptⓇ for Modern Calligraphy Fun at Three of Strong Spirits!
Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! The perfect crafty night out!
The class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, two letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all writing materials. At the end of the workshop, you will keep everything!

Krista has been doing improv for over 10 years, and ran an improv theater in Portland, Maine for two years upon first moving here.
Jennywren Walker trained in theater at AMDA in New York and has been performing improv since the 2000's.
Tom Walsh trained with Improv Boston, and with Keith Johnstone, and has been performing in the Portland area since the 90's. He was a member of the popular group Instant Comedy in the 90's and performs with Running With Scissors.
They recently won the Cage Match series of improv shows at Empire Comedy Club.
